It can convert the power frequency continuous current to heat to cause the arrestor break away when the arrestor is invalid .The apparatus is fixed in an airtight container .When the current runs through the arrestor ,burning arc will appear in the inner of the container .After being heated ,the power unit will be fried to cause the container burst up ,the earth connection terminal will come off.
